The fallen

Tears of the pure hearted

Once they were blessed by god
Now they’re cursed
Once the were the devils foes
Now they’re his servants

On their way to insight
They lost their heart
Now they are betrayed
And eternal damned

They had been angels
Flying in the heavens sky
Their wings feathered white
And they were holy

But they had been betrayed
By god our lord
Their wings had been taken
White turned into dark

Now they are the fallen
