Farewell Deidara

Farewell Deidara

Deidara.

So it finally happened. You’re dead now, died as an object of art, letting me on my own. Were you that desperate, that… unhappy, maybe?

Perhaps you found out that I… played with you. It was just a game; I still haven’t got any feelings… since I had lost them at an age of eight.

I dissolve my astral projection and return to the cave in which Kisame’s and my real body stayed as long as the sealing lasted.

It’s raining outside, Deidara. Are these your tears? Eventually. If this really is the fact, I’d only say, you’re pathetic. You believed me, you believed everything of the game, everything I ever told you.

I can also remember every detail of our first meeting, our first fight. You hated me, you really did. Because I didn’t recognise your art, because I won against you, both in art and in the fight. My Sharingan impressed you and so you hated me.

After you joined Akatsuki you were teamed up with Sasori… as planned. You got my interest as well. And one day, I had an idea. I just wanted to test you and so I went to your room, knocked at your door and, just as you had opened the door, hugged you.

I walk outside the cave and stay in the rain. I look upside to the sky and let the rain wet my clothes… especially my cloak.

While I’m looking to the sky, I think about what happened. You’re dead, my brother’s not. Sasuke is still alive; he may be awaiting me now. I don’t rush. He can wait a bit longer, I’ll search him later.

You were fun, Deidara. I enjoyed playing with you, looking at you, but…

I don’t know why…

I also enjoyed being with you.

Ts… You surprised me, Deidara… with your kiss… both the first and the second. I did not disrupt the first kiss because I… enjoyed it. But I did disrupt the second one because I didn’t want you to confuse me even more.

I didn’t expect you to come into my room after Sasori’s death. And so I asked you, you answered. You told me about your feelings and thanked me for bringing your arms back.

Your arms.

You still don’t know why I brought them back to you. I didn’t do it out of love; it was just part of my plan.

Even though I refused to be confused because of you, you managed it. You told me indirectly that you loved me. At that time I was thinking about what you said and I was surprised… so I answered with two words which didn’t mean anything.

Me too.

But you were so happy to hear those two words; I can’t understand it even now…

I sense my brother and therefore, I give Kisame the order to go near the Uchiha hideout and to keep away the helpers of Sasuke. I go to the Uchiha hideout myself and wait there, while my Genjutsu meets with my little brother.

Deidara… Why were you so happy? Why were you so naive and believed me everything? In the beginning, I just wanted to have fun… to play with you. In the end, you confused me…

You enjoyed being with me and you were even the person who kissed me.

Were you really happy, Deidara?

Sasuke arrives now. His eyes are full of hatred. After a few words, we fight. At first only with Genjutsus. Only now, after we talked again, we fight with our real power.

I can’t really fight. You are in my mind and keep confusing me, even though you’re dead, and even without thoughts of you, I can’t fight with full strength.

Sasuke’s strong and I’m getting blind. My eyesight is really bad. I need his eyes! If I cannot get them, I’ll lose this fight… I’ll die.

We fight against each other at full strength. He comes at me with secret attacks and tries everything out. I couldn’t get him with Tsukuyomi, so I’ll try Amaterasu now.

Deidara, why are you still in my mind? Weren’t you just fun? Were you… more than that? I don’t know the answer yet.

Maybe I’ll never know…

He made me using Susano’o, my last and final technique. I had to fight Orochimaru too, but I won against him. Now, I’m walking slowly towards Sasuke and I raise my arm… want to grab for his eyes, but…

I nearly see anything now and I lost all my power during the fight.

I lost.

Death comes near me… I’m going to die…

And with my last breath, I have the answer to my question:

It was love…

Farewell, Deidara~

[Nobody’s POV:

Itachi had made it in time, to pass all his eye techniques onto Sasuke.

Then he fell to the ground, with a sign of a smile.

Uchiha Itachi didn’t think of revenge… didn’t think of Sasuke… didn’t even think of Uchiha Madara.

His only though belonged to one person.

Deidara.]

Farewell Deidara

THE END

So, this was my second One Shot and Part two of my little project.

I hope you understood it and I’ll be happy for a review.

Maybe another project like this one will come in the future~

Who knows… ^^

Wow, ein wunderschöner OneShot zur Fortsetzung von "Farewell Itachi"! :3
