(...) Chesmu sat up to have a closer look at the imp. It had a round body with four very thin, black arms and legs, two long, pointed ears, and small antlers on his head. It wore a collar which was obviously made from leafs of this tree. “I am sorry about this, little tot. I am already gone.” Chesmu stood up, and was about to leave, when the imp stopped him. “Are you going alone?” He turned around. “Of course. My home village got burnt down tonight, I need to find my family and make the immemorial pay for this!” The imp laughed again. Alone? “So you’re going to save the world alone, without food, without any weapon?’’
Right - where was his weapon? Wondering, Chesmu had a look around the tree. Did he really forget his weapon last night?? By and by he felt foolish while the imp couldn’t barely stop laughing about him. “Stupid imps.” He grumbled while looking for something to replace his weapon. “No reason to be mean! After all, I let you sleep in my home! Maybe I can help you? You should build a new weapon first, and have some breakfast, before saving the world.” The imp chuckled and disappeared in the roots under the tree.
Chesmu walked around and built a new spear with a stick and a pointed stone he found. “That will do it, for now…” He went to a nearby river and caught a fish. After that exciting night, he was incredible hungry. “Is that all?” The imp appeared again. “You will need some supplies on your way!” Before Chesmu was able to react to the imp’s words, it threw something it called “bang-corns” right into the river.
“BOOOM!” A huge fountain skyrocketed out of the river - “Whoops! That was a bit too much.” The imp noticed and disappeared. An enraged waterdragon rose out of the water and targeted (...)
